That's a great place to grab a beer bottle in Barra da Tijuca at a great price, and until fairly cold. We were in the Sweet Shell on Saturday and liked what we saw. A very nice bar with live music and great price.
Who plays in Saturday's Claudio, with an eclectic repertoire of popular songs like A Tribe Called Quest, Keith Urban, Skank, Bruno and Marrone, Victor and Leo, Claudia Leite, Ivete Sangalo among others. While singing until well he has a serious defect in who plays in bars ... wants to be the center of attention. But well fulfilled its role of encouraging the staff at the end, they got up and danced a lot.
The food comes in abundance, especially the potato rostie which is huge. We ate a chicken with cheese crepe which was also very tasty. The doses of rum and tequila also comes in large quantity, which is great!
The downside is the service which is very deficient amount of waiters. It seems they always disappear just when you want to make a request! He also had a very strange incident ... suddenly drops a lot of water on our table right on top of guys! It was a lot of water that fell from the gutter that was apparently blocked. Really a very embarrassing situation that could have been avoided if there had been adequately maintained.
We recommend the Sweet Shell and certainly will go back there more often, as a beer bottle in a pleasant and fun, with live music, well attended and a good price is always guaranteed a good time and drinking.
