We arranged to meet with friends at 07:30 am in front of the Bar of Osvaldo and headed towards the peak of the Gávea.
It took nearly three hours of hard walk to reach the top. We face a heavy track, the holm oak and exceed our limits, but in the end we were presented with this view here:
After enjoying the view and stay delighted with what we saw up there (they are exactly 840 meters altitude), the only thought that we would take cold beer when we were down again.

Restaurant Canto Alegre is a very friendly Portuguese lady who always goes to the table to ask if everything is fine.
It is a familiar environment, with simple decor with Portuguese elements. The price is well into account and the food is excellent and plentiful!
The specialty is fish, especially cod. As we were in more than 10 people and all very hungry, just asking sliced sirloin, which was very good indeed. It comes with fries, rice and manioc.
