We went on a Friday and arrived around 22:00. It was very full. We realize that a bar is that since the beginning of the night is beginning to fill and empty too soon. Around midnight, the staff starts to leave.
The Buxixo is frequented by an eclectic audience ranging from families with children, masters (s) to young singles who go there to prepare for the ballad. There's always some live music feature that creates a climate even more excited.
We got there and to our disappointment there was no bottled beer, only beer. But okay, since the beer was served to us was nice and cold. We input a Brahma beer and then proceed to the Black Lager same.
Friday, after hours and that hunger hit. We ask a lot of dried meat with manioc. Unlike most bars in Rio de Janeiro, in Buxixo is served in small cubes. Highlight for the amount that you can serve 4 people quietly, of course depending on the "size" of hunger.
The service is good, but still not great. Sometimes we had to wait to be served. But nothing that makes you angry or despite the concept of the bar, because the positives are much more relevant.
The bar has two floors. The top is very little frequented. Rarely noticed many people there, but it's still a good option for those who want a little privacy. At the bottom the best place to stay is on the outside, in our opinion. While staying inside is not unpleasant as it is wide open and you can integrate seamlessly with the entire bar.
We've been there a few times and never leave unsatisfied. As I said, is an excellent choice to entertain a little and enjoy a spacious and well attended.
